Satan's Fall
The Book of Revelation describes what it will be like in the "LAST DAYS". It will be a time when Israel is again established as a self-sufficient nation standing on her own. It says that at this time, the DRAGON, that SERPENT of old, also called the DEVIL and SATAN, is cast to the earth. But this time his ANGELS are CAST OUT with him too!
"Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time." - Revelation 12:12
As you will see, we are living in that time NOW! Satan has been cast out a SECOND TIME! And now his angels are here on earth with him! This was a RECENT event! And it explains the current chaos that we see globally! This is not a time for "BUSINESS AS USUAL."
The Original Fall
Yeshua briefly described what He saw the FIRST TIME Satan was thrown out of Heaven in the book of Luke.
"I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven." - Luke 10:18
Ezekiel tells us that the root cause was PRIDE that had corrupted the most beautiful of angels.
"By the abundance of your trading You became filled with violence within, And you sinned; Therefore I cast you as a profane thing Out of the mountain of God; And I destroyed you, O covering cherub, From the midst of the fiery stones. Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty; You corrupted your wisdom for the sake of your splendor; I cast you to the ground, I laid you before kings, That they might gaze at you." - Ezekiel 28:16-17
Isaiah gives us some more information about Satan's mindset:
"For you have said in your heart: 'I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation On the farthest sides of the north; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High.' Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol, To the lowest depths of the Pit." - Isaiah 14:13-15
The Second Fall
Revelation Chapter Twelve prophesies about Satan's SECOND FALL in the LAST DAYS.
"And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer. So the GREAT DRAGON WAS CAST OUT, that SERPENT of old, called the DEVIL and SATAN, who deceives the whole world; HE WAS CAST TO THE EARTH, and his ANGELS WERE CAST OUT WITH HIM." - Revelation 12:7-9
Three verses later, The Apostle John emphasizes that this time the Devil knows that there is only a short time left for him to do evil before his judgment.
Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! FOR THE DEVIL HAS COME DOWN TO YOU, having GREAT WRATH, because he KNOWS that he has a SHORT TIME. - Revelation 12:12
